Following a steep ascent to Roddino, a prolonged descent awaits before the ultimate climb leading to Cissone.

Indulge in a glass of locally sourced wine from a traditional cantina in the heart of the village—a delightful way to commemorate a day of leisure and relaxation. Following a brief circular stroll in the environs of Cissone, take a moment to unwind and appreciate the magnificent vistas from the farm. The scenery unfolds as a singular spectacle, adorned with vineyards and punctuated by towers and castles.

The high Langhe region surrounding Cissone showcases hazelnut forests, while the steep slopes, unsuitable for cultivation, are adorned with oak trees. This area is renowned for housing the most esteemed local gem—the 'Tuber Magnatum,' also recognized as 'the white truffle of Alba.' The landscape today mirrors the diversity of the walk, leading you through hazelnut plantations and dense chestnut woods as you visit the villages of Torre Bormida and Bergolo.
