The Ngorongoro Crater is a volcanic caldera in northern Tanzania, part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It’s renowned for its high concentration of wildlife, including the “Big Five”. The crater is the world’s largest intact caldera, formed when a volcano erupted and collapsed, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
